ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE REQUIREMENTS

IMPORTANT! All of our guided tours begin one day before the official tour start date, and require an extra day at the tail end for return transport to Bishkek. As such, you will need to plan your arrival in Bishkek for early morning the day before you are scheduled to tour up to the yurts, and plan your departure for two mornings after riding out from the yurts.

PRICE INCLUDES

40 Tribes Lead and Tail Ski/Splitboard Guides; Private round trip transport between Bishkek’s Manas Airport and Karakol (approx 400km/6 hrs each way); Private round trip transport between Karakol and our partner village (approx 30km/30 min each way); 1 night village home stay, dinner and breakfast included; Snowmohorse transport for group/personal gear between the village and yurts; 4 nights yurt lodging and all meals, snacks and drinks during stay; Services of our local partners who host, cook, clean, and manage yurt chores; 3 full + 2 half days of epic guided skiing/splitboarding!; Celebratory final night bonfire party; 1 night guesthouse lodging in Karakol and 1 night hotel lodging in Bishkek on the tail end prior to departure.

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE

International airfare and baggage fees; Visa fees, if applicable (30-day visa on arrival available for most nationalities); Medical/evacuation insurance; Meals in Bishkek/Karakol; Alcohol; Tips for guides and local partners.

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS

For the second year, we are offering a handful of exciting add-ons. The small additional cost for these unique experiences is passed directly to our village partners. It’s up to your group to decide of you’d like to opt in for any or all.

The add-ons include:

  • Riding horses (vs touring) from the village up to the yurts. All of your gear will be portered by horses regardless, you just need to decide if you'd like to ride or tour. The distance is approximately 6km.

  • Watching a traditional match of Kok Boru (headless goat polo) in the fields outside of the village after you ride out from the yurts. Not for the fainthearted but definitely something you'll never forget! There is a fake goat option if you aren’t comfortable with a real goat slaughter.

  • Visiting with Berkutchi, or traditional eagle hunters, along the south shore of Lake Issyk-Kul on your way back to Bishkek.

Just let us know what, if anything, you would like to add on!
