Kyrgyzstan is a country 90% covered by mountains where four out of five people face unemployment during the winter months. The Faction Collective travelled to Kyrgyzstan on a mission. Since partnering with Gear4guides, a nonprofit working to empower locals in emerging winter sports destination in order to build sustainable winter tourism, Faction has collected over half a ton of ski gear donated by fans and partners around the world.

April 26th - May 2nd 2015: Ski- and Splitboardexpedition in Svalbard Spending 7 days in a basecamp on Sagabreen in the west of Svalbard, 110km away from Longyearbyen. Riding the mountains surrounding our tents with 24h hours of sunlight. Feeling the forces of mother nature in the middle of nowhere at 78° north. Epic landscapes and breathtaking views to the archipelago of Spitsbergen/Svalbard and the arctic sea. And finally 7 days of sunshine during the whole expedition...simply amazing, unforgettable, epic, lonesome, cold, etc etc
