CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICIES

Per Client Request

More than 4 months prior to the trip start date: We will gladly transfer payments to another booking within the current or following season. If you do not wish to transfer payments, we will offer a refund if we, or you, are able to find another individual or group to fill the booking.

Less than 4 months prior to the trip start date: All payments made are non-transferable and 50% refundable only if we, or you, are able to find another individual or group to fill the booking.

Rights Reserved

We reserve the right to cancel due to inadequate client registrations, at which time we will offer a refund in full. We additionally reserve the right to cancel trips at any time due to unsettling political, social, health or environmental circumstances or events, in which case the following transfer/refund options will apply:

More than 3 months prior to the trip start date:

Option one: 100% of payments made are transferable to the following year’s trip.

Option two: We will work with you to get you switched over to a trip that is running, assuming there’s space.

Option three: We will offer a refund less the deposit amount, which can always be reclaimed in the form of a credit on a future booking.

6 weeks-3 months prior to the trip start date: 75% of payments made are transferable to the following year’s trip.

Less than 6 weeks prior to the trip start date: 50% of payments made are transferable to the following year’s trip.

Less than 2 weeks prior to the trip start date: 25% of payments made are refundable or transferable to the following year’s trip.

Back-to-back cancellations: If we are holding only a deposit and are forced to cancel your trip two seasons in a row, that amount will become entirely non-refundable and non-transferable.

Exclusions

We cannot offer refunds for missed reservations, early departures, inclement weather/extreme avalanche danger, snow conditions, or force majeure events, and are not responsible for additional expenses incurred in preparing for the trip (e.g. airline tickets, visa application fees, equipment purchases, etc).

 

BALANCES

Balances are due 4 months prior to trip start. If, at the 4-month mark, we have inadequate client registrations or have concerns about our ability to run the trip (due to unsettling circumstances or events), we will delay the due date and reassess at 3 months prior. Balances are equal to the remaining 80% of trip cost. Balances not paid within 10 days of request will incur a fee of 0.5% the amount due every day thereafter.
