TAIL GUIDE (KYRGYZSTAN)
FROM: COLORADO, USA
Justin is a Colorado native who currently calls Summit County home. He is a professionally-trained splitboard guide under the American Mountain Guides Association and American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education. Justin studied Outdoor Recreation Leadership as an undergraduate and has been working in the outdoor industry for the past 10 years, spending summers as a raft guide and winters as a splitboard guide. He is Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certified and teaches First Aid/CPR courses. Justin recently founded Colorado Snowboard Guides, which offers guided tours and educational courses in the mountains of central Colorado, and is an athlete for Ortovox, Julbo, OZ Snowboards, Fitwell Boots, and Shred Ready helmets. Justin's passion, tactfulness, and overall stoke for being in the mountains is contagious and he loves to share these experiences with others. In his free time you can find Justin exploring the next zone on his splitboard, rafting off the grid, climbing mountains, or spending time with his family. Justin will tail guide WKS 5 and 6 and is beyond stoked to join the 40 Tribes crew for his first season.
